When our lives are busy with business and personal issues which need our attention we can all be guilty of putting our own health at the bottom of our list of priorities. But to be able to deal with life’s challenges we need to be fit and healthy. So the Rural Hub and Farmers’ Community Network will be bringing the health professionals to you on Monday 16 September when we have organised a Fit for Farming health support event at Rugby Farmers’ Market at Stoneleigh Park.
Working from the café in the Jersey Building we will be giving free mini-massages, handing out the FCN booklet “Fit for Farming”, giving you the opportunity to speak privately to a Nurse Practitioner and undergo basic health testing and speak to staff from FCN, RABI, Addington Fund and MacMillan Cancer Support.
We will be asking for your feedback during the event to see what support you would like to see at the market on a regular basis.
Please drop in to see us at any point during the day – you don’t have to be selling or buying at the market and the event is open to everyone.
