If you are a small or medium-sized business, you may be able to get a grant of up to £3,000 to upgrade your business broadband to a Gigabit capable connection.
The Government is testing a new Gigabit Voucher Scheme, which will provide vouchers worth up to £3,000 to support the capital costs of getting new gigabit capable connections for businesses. Coventry and Warwickshire are one of the four pilot areas.
Suppliers will be offering vouchers worth between £500 and £3000 each to local businesses, which can then be used to pay for the installation of gigabit speed connections. The aim of the pilots is to encourage the market to extend full fibre infrastructure in the UK by increasing demand and reducing the cost to customers.
The pilot is supplier-led, meaning that customers will need to go to an approved supplier who will then deal with the administration of the scheme. Details of approved suppliers can be found at the link below.
