Work experience with goats required by Italian student

I’m an Italian student called Camilla and I’m looking for work experience with goats.   I’m not a veterinarian, nor am I studying veterinary medicine (I study Physics in Bologna), however, if there was the opportunity, I’d also be quite interested in learning something about the medical aspects of caring for the animals. Preferably I’d like to find work for a one or two month period, from September of this year.

So far I’ve had experience in one farm in the region of Umbria here in Italy. It is an agricultural business that specialises in raw goat milk cheese with a herd that numbers around fifty animals.  I mostly work in the barn and take care of feeding, milking, cleaning and delivering the milk to the dairy.  Due to a couple bacterial and parasitic problems last year I’ve also gathered some knowledge concerning the treatment of the animals and know how to administer certain types of medication if needed. I’ve worked through the lambing season and assisted the births.  I’ve tried my hand at cheesemaking but I can’t say I’m particularly competent in that area,

If you could offer me work experience in Warwickshire in September for a couple of months I would be grateful.

Archery club seeks new outdoor range

The Rugby Archery club is looking for a new outdoor range. Do you have a suitable field we could rent?

Our range needs to be a minimum 150 yards long by 50 yards wide.  It would need reasonable access and parking for cars as most members would drive to the range.  We currently have 40 members,  I don’t think I have ever seen all 40 at the same time.  Probably max of 15 at any one time.  If we could have 7 day per week access during daylight hours that would be ideal  Access to a toilet would also be ideal, not necessarily essential though.  Maybe placing a small shipping container or wooden shed on site for equipment storage?  Able to leave our target bosses outside during the summer?  These are all things we could discuss and agree.

Our outdoor season is April to October,  whether we rent just for our outdoor season or perhaps we may need to rent for the whole year, these are things we can discuss if you have a suitable flat grass field.

We are an inclusive club, we probably have above average numbers of female archers plus a good number of junior members, anyone and everyone is welcome to join our club, we hold regular beginner classes and have a go sessions.  Sport has many benefits for mental well being, it allows participants to switch off from everyday life and be in the moment.

We would love to be able to continue with our club  – do you have a suitable area that’s under-utilised?

Workshop rental available near Stratford on Avon

Shared rental of a brand new light industrial workshop on the outskirts of Stratford upon Avon, available from July.   The unit is just over 2200 sq ft and benefits from roller shutter door and pedestrian access, 6m high eaves, kitchen, toilet, and a floated concrete floor. Well insulated and high spec.

Outside there is parking and adequate space for lorries turning. The site is a secure gated development.

I’m looking to sublet 25-50% of the space as a workshop or storage space for a proportional share of the cost per month.

My prop making and sculpture business will occupy the remaining space.
